Description
“Enraged” is the creation of Frankie Lim Rong Yao in 2016. In this piece, Frankie gives form to his pain, frustration and anger at the lack of compassion and empathy for people with disabilities. His signature style of intuitively curated, intricate lines and patterns also underbelly his frustration. The expressive eyes communicate his anger - after all, aren’t the eyes a window to one’s soul? Growing up autistic, Frankie has experienced more than his fair share of scrutiny and apathy in the public eye. These experiences have become the raison d'être for his art, his advocacy, and his drive to show the world that “different, is not less”.
